How do credits work?
Credits are the universal currency for AI-powered actions. Top up with TAO any time — you receive a fixed credit amount per TAO (100 by default). Each AI action (AI Board analysis, Predictor run, Deep Research, etc.) costs 1 credit. Unused credits never expire. Unlimited-tier users don't consume credits — everything is unlimited.Do I get free credits when I sign up?
Yes. Every new account receives 20 welcome bonus credits so you can try AI Board, Predictor, and other tools before topping up. The bonus credits never expire.What happens if an AI action fails?
Credits are automatically refunded to your balance. For Predictor batch runs, partial refunds are issued per-subnet if individual analyses fail. All refunds are visible in your credit ledger.Why are prices in TAO?

Pro is pay-as-you-go — top up TAO any time to receive credits at the current rate, and spend them on AI tools as you need. Unlimited removes all credit limits for a time-bounded window (1 TAO = 1 month, or 7.2 TAO for 12 months at 40% off). Unlimited is the “pay and forget” tier for power users and funds.Can I switch between plans?
There's no plan to switch — top up credits whenever you need them. Activating Unlimited bypasses credit spending for the chosen window; buying more Unlimited while you already have an active window extends it from the existing end date (stacks, not resets). When the window expires you fall back to whatever credits you had plus anything you bought during.Do credits expire?
No. Purchased credits and welcome bonus credits never expire and stay in your account until used, regardless of your plan.Can I get a refund?
Purchased credits are non-refundable, but failed AI actions always refund automatically. Subscription cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our refund policy for details.
